Link Hospitality To Increase Automation and Efficiency In An Industy That Needs It Most
Dallas, Tx (September 15th, 2010) - Antera Software, the Dallas-based company, has developed a document and information management system specifically for the hospitality industry. In this day in age, every corporate service industry company has a POS system that manages sales, HR, and inventories on some level. But what about all of the other documents that build up on a day to week to month basis: nightly sales reports or “Red Book” reports, liquor and food inventories, usage reports, delivery invoices, I-9s, W-4s, employee write ups, tip-out trackers, catering or party contracts, work orders, maintenance requests, newsletters, flyers, standard forms, etc. In most cases, managers and corporate employees are passing items back and forth via email and saving them on individual hard drives, and store sites may still fax, send, or hand deliver paper documents to corporate. Antera has developed a more efficient way for restaurants and night clubs to handle data.
On a basic level, Antera offers a content management system which stores, manages, and workflows all of a business’s content and data, allowing any business to become a file-cabinet-free, paperless operation. Access is via web login, so Antera’s system can run on either a business’s in-house sever or from a co-location. Universal access allows corporate to easily share and disseminate information to managers at store locations. Antera’s My File application forces managers to save information directly to the Link content management system providing access and visibility of all business files, to corporate twenty-four seven.
On a second level of hospitality automation, Antera can provide a data link between POS systems (HR and payroll) and accounting or payroll software. Link ECM 3.2 can accept data feeds in a number of different formats and automatically transfer and populate values into a billing or accounting system, eliminating the necessity of manual data entry or reentry.
A third level of business automation utilizes scanners at every store location, which allows for a 100% paperless operation. Antera is a certified reseller of the IFR (Intelligent Field Recognition) software, Abbyy, which completely automates invoicing on an enterprise level. Managers at the store level scan all invoices and other paperwork into Abbyy. Abbyy is able to recognize the document type, and read the fields within the document, extract pertinent data, file the document in Link accordingly, and export invoice amounts into the company’s accounting program.
